Though again that belt looks painfully easy to just wiz under. Really only the Cleveland compares/outperform prior to T8 or so. Getting through the belt, (even if you couldn't go under it so easy), is going to be much easier, though still harder than for a lot of cruisers. i'm just talking in terms of getting her cit. ![]() So most incoming fire is going to contend with 100mm of belt armour to determine if it does at least penetration damage followed by another 40mm to see if gets the citadel. Which has a significant gap before 40mm citadel armour.Which lays overtop of 100mm of belt armour.It's 16mm of anti-torpedo armour (submerged).Keep in mind, the 156mm isn't a single plate. ![]()
